Conclusion
We've just touched the surface of the uses for the Google:map taglibrary. You could also
use other technologies along with Google:map to generate dynamic applications. For example,
you could integrate Google:map with the JSTL to generate database driven maps.
The latest addition of user defined client events allows Google:map to interact
with the client, giving the application the opportunity to store map state, make database
additions, deletions, etc.
Future plans are to incorporate driving directions with Google:map. Stay tuned.
We'd love to hear (or better yet see) how you use the Google:map taglibrary. If you
generate some web pages or applications using Google:map, please
drop me a line (with a link would be awesome). If you have ideas for extending Google:map we'd also
love to hear about it.
You may want to consider joining our Google groups for the Google:map JSP taglibrary. As a matter of
fact, there's a form right here where you can do that....
