Trunk (truhngk): a large compartment, usually in the rear of an automobile, in which luggage, a spare tire, and other articles may be kept.

Tailgate (teyl' -geyt ): the board or gate at the back of a wagon, truck, station wagon, Jeep, etc. which can be removed or let down for convenience in loading or unloading.

Function:

Used for trunk and tailgate vibration and dampening as well as an automobile weathstrip.

Application:

Automotive trunk and tailgate tape is self adhered with an easy to peel liner that is cast onto the foam rather than the adhesive. Simply unwind to expose the adhesive side and apply gentle pressure to stick. Acrylic adhesive can take up to 72 hours to reach its maximum bond.

Put-up:

Provided in self-wound rolls with a water-based acrylic adhesive. Available in black only.

Materials:
